Tire changes according to season

This is a short reminder to all our customers, about the reasons for tire changes. In winter, changing your tires is necessary for your safety. Indeed, the softer rubber compounds required for winter driving  do not stand up well to summer time temperatures. In fact, tire wear increases dramatically by driving in temperatures above 7*C. The deadline for this swap is December 15th.

The change of your “summer tires” or “4 seasons”, can be done from 15th of March. Indeed, driving with winter tires is not recommended. They lose their grip because of the high temperature of the asphalt roads.

Finally, changing your tires in our garage allows us to check the wear, the pressure and their parallelism.
